In a single three-hour exam session, PTE Academic evaluates listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills using a computer.
The PTE test is divided into three main sections: writing and speaking (together), listening, and reading. 10-minute break (optional) can be taken between the reading and listening sections.
During the exam, you will encounter twenty distinct question styles, ranging from multiple choice to essay writing and information interpretation.
PTE Academic evaluates real-life, academic English, therefore you will hear lecture excerpts and see graphs and charts.
The test will feature a variety of accents, ranging from British and American to non-native speakers.
The results are usually accessible within 48 hours of taking the exam.
You will be evaluated objectively and consistently if you use computer-based testing and scoring.
365 days a year, you may schedule exams up to 24 hours in advance.

PTE Home is the best option for individuals seeking a family or settlement visa since it is quick, fair, and convenient. Our Secure English Language Tests (SELT) is approved by the UK Home Office.

Each PTE Home exam is a pass-fail speaking and listening test administered on a computer in a safe and welcoming testing environment. Completing a PTE Home exam demonstrates that your English language ability satisfies the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) Levels A1, A2, and B1.

PTE Home A1

This is a beginner-level test that may be used to prove language competency for a variety of family and work visas.

PTE Home A2

In order to qualify for an extension, certain visas demand proof of English language progress.

PTE Home B1

If you want to stay in the UK permanently, you must prove that your English is at the CEFR level B1.
